Established in 2005, Hands of Faith Ministries is committed to serving our local community and beyond. Our journey began with a small group of dedicated individuals focused on making a difference through outreach and support service programs.

We strive to create a welcoming environment for all, encouraging personal growth and collective well-being. Pastor Eddie and Tina Brown envision a holistic recovery journey through the Hope Harvest program, integrating faith, community, and practical skill-building. By acquiring land and offering training in farming, construction, carpentry, and partnerships with employers, we aim to assist in housing support and create a safe haven that fosters self-sufficiency and instills hope in our clients.

Our Story
Eddie R. Brown and his wife, Tina Brown, are the dynamic co-founders of Hands of Faith Ministries, a renowned marriage education and Christian counseling organization based in Washington State. The Browns were licensed counselors for the state of Washington for 4 1/2 years. They hold certifications from Bridgeport, Light Universities, and Restoring the Foundation, specializing in spiritual healing, family and emotional health development, and professional life coaching.
Married for 44 years, the Browns have proudly raised seven adult children and enjoy fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Eddie has effectively served as the chairperson of the executive board of directors for the Metropolitan Healthy Marriage Initiative. At the same time, Tina made her mark on the Covington City Council and successfully operated the King of Kings daycare center for twelve years before its closure. They are both former members of the Covington Kiwanis and actively participate in the domestic violence task force. Their marriage programs are based on a variety of authoritative sources, including the Word of God, Kingdom Marriage, Prepare/Enrich, "The Marriage You Have Always Wanted," "Marriage Works," Love and Respect, and "Preparing for Marriage."
With over thirty years of active ministry, the Browns have made a significant impact, including co-founding the transformative youth development organization U.N.I.T.Y. This initiative also led to the Unity Drill Team and the Untouchable Dance Team.
Their proactive community engagement and strong ties to the City of Covington significantly influence their approach to ministry. The U.N.I.T.Y. (Uniting National Interest Through Youth) organization has profoundly impacted the lives of young individuals aged 11 to 18, creating a safe space for them to acquire essential life skills while encouraging them to become productive, respectful members of society who set goals and care for themselves and others. Pastor Tina actively collaborates with her husband, steadfastly supporting the mission and ministry that God has entrusted to them. The Browns are wholeheartedly committed to restoring families, marriages, individuals, and relationships while cultivating prosperity as God intended. Their powerful testimony highlights that no relationship is beyond the reach of God's restorative power. Living in Covington, WA, they are dedicated to improving their marriage while equipping others with the tools to encourage covenant relationships in all areas of life. The Browns are recognized as dedicated people who love God and love people, living purposefully while fulfilling the divine assignments and destinies given to them. Their unwavering commitment to bringing hope to the hopeless and addressing the needs of the vulnerable is evident in all that they do.
